Tiananmen Massacre

Here is one final image and some unfinished designs for a poster publicizing a forum put on by The Department of Political Science at the University of Oregon. They are organizing an academic panel to assess the Tienanmen Massacre of 1989. If you don't know what that is then PLEASE educate yourself.

trying something new
I have decided to end my relationship with myspace and facebook. This decision was sparked by an article a friend sent me.
Check it out at:
http://www.commondreams.org -search the archive for an article titled "With Friends like These"
I would like to use the time I spend in front of the computer screen more productively and would also prefer not to concern myself with social interactions via computer when I could concern myself with real life social interactions.
I don't think that Myspace or Facebook are completely useless. Many people view them as a tool for self-advertising. My band, for example, will continue to have a myspace page until we are able to create a website.
I would like to have a place online where I can share my art without sharing other personal information or being bombarded by advertisements. So I have decided to come back to this blog that I started as a requirment for my school trip to China.
I hope some of you reading this have meandered here from the myspace/facbook community to check on my arts. That would be really cool. Please feel free to write me at ikriegh@uoregon.edu
